On Facebook I held an art giveaway contest and I had some great responses.
In response to my question about how the photo of her with the sign took place in the hospital. Here is what she said: "With COPD, ya never know if you're gonna be in the hospital for 2 days or 2 weeks. I knew the deadline was coming up and I was getting nervous. I asked our nanny (who was so kind and offered to bring me some stuff) if she'd mind bringing my poster and taking a picture just in case I didn't get out in time."
I am very thankful to Stephen Nielsen, the reporter at The Winchester Star for writing such a well done article about my 3-D art. I am also thankful for the great photography by Jeff Taylor who used his creativity to really capture the essence of the 3-D work as well how I work. Even in the nice clean space of the Discovery Studio I am still surrounded by chaos. Now that i am packing up all of my stuff at the museum studio and have to take home I have to really start working on GETTING MY DREAM STUDIO AND SHOWROOM - But where . . . Martinsburg? Winchester? Hagerstown? Which community will help me create a place where I can A.) have a work shop for sculpture B.) have various studio spaces for flinging paint, and painting in a dust free area. C.) Storage room D.) Showroom E.) Classroom. F.) Computer room/office. Any landlords out there willing to work with me? Invest in me and I will invest in you! And together we will be investing in our community!!!
